Texan-born Sean Paul Redding moved to England aged 19. A self-taught chef specialising in vegetarian and vegan food, Sean Paul has been working in London for the last 30 years, before moving to Liverpool in 2016.
Sean Paul’s first job was just off London’s Portobello Road at the famous Notting Hill shop Books for Cooks, cooking and helping with cookery courses. From there Sean Paul moved on to work in some of London’s top restaurants, including
The Ivy, Daphne’s and J Sheekey’s. He then honed his vegetarian and vegan skills at Manna, where the team won best vegetarian restaurant with the Vegetarian Society and Timeout’s ‘Best Vegetarian Meal’. Sean Paul has spent the last seven years running his private catering business and working as a personal chef to many of London’s celebrities including Tamara Ecclestone, Kate Moss and Liv Tyler.
Since moving to Liverpool, Sean Paul has catered several pop-up restaurants and has also been instrumental in opening two vegan and vegetarian restaurants in Liverpool. He has now opened the 241 Bistro at the Lauries and is also hosting his Vegan and vegetarian Green Fork pop up.
